The word "Faux" means fake or false. Generally speaking, a Faux finish is used to create a specific atmosphere or mood in room. Since paint can be mixed in virtually any color, Faux finishes are especially helpful in creating a perfectly matched decor. Many Faux finishers can simulate the look of wood, leather, marble, stone, brick, suede, plaster, parchment paper and the list continues. Almost any technique can look just like wallpaper. Here at Reality painting, I believe in creating Walls that come to life!
